Fundașul spaniol va împlini 40 de ani pe 30 martie 2026, dar nu se gândește să agațe ghetele în cui și chiar speră la prezența la Campionatul Mondial de anul viitor. După ce reîntoarcerea la Real Madrid a devenit imposibilă, ibericul ar avea de ales între Juventus și AC Milan, formațiile de top din Serie A, care joacă în Champions League și îl curtează insistent pe experimentatul stoper.
Conform presei din Italia, Juventus ar fi pus pe masă o ofertă mai generoasă din punct de vedere financiar, dar Milan ar avea prima șansă să-l înregimenteze, contând pe aportul lui Luka Modric (40 de ani) în negocieri. Sergio Ramos Garcia (39 de ani / 185 cm) este născut la Camas (Comunitatea Autonomă Andaluzia) și a fost legitimat la echipele Sevilla Atletico (2003-2004), FC Sevilla (2004-2005, 2023-2024), Real Madrid (2005-2021), PSG (2021-2023) și Rayados de Monterrey (2025). A jucat 180 de meciuri oficiale pentru naționala de seniori a Spaniei și a marcat 23 de goluri.
El este considerat unul dintre cei mai valoroși fundași din istoria fotbalului spaniol, fiind inclus pe lista scurtă la acest capitol, alături de Carles Puyol, Fernando Hiero, Gerard Pique, Jose Antonio Camacho, Manuel Sanchis, Chendo sau Jose Santamaria.
